Conflict Resolution Skills
Thursday, February 20, 2014, from 8:15-11:45 a.m. | 2929 Melrose, Walla Walla (Columbia REA)
Unfortunately, conflicts are very common and occur on a constant basis in the workplace. Such conflict costs businesses money. It does not matter if the conflict is employee to employee, employee to management, or employee to client. Each time a conflict develops, the loser is the bottom line of the business in that there is a reduction of productivity, time, and financial resources. When conflicts go unaddressed, they can have a negative impact on productivity and teamwork. Using conflict resolution strategies in the workplace will help maintain a healthy work environment.
Join us, along with our presenters Jack Hebner and Gayle Cooper from Fulcrum Dispute Resolution where they explain conflict resolution techniques:
* Listening * Gather the Group * Workplace Impartiality * Broadcast Praise
* Promote Teamwork * The Heart of a Conflict * and much MUCH more!!
Pastries and beverages will be provided. Cost: FREE to BMHRMA members; $10.00 non-members.
This event has been submitted for pre-approval for HRCI General Credits.
