Summary:
Last year, SHRM announced the creation of a new certification for the HR profession. In January 2015, SHRM opened registration for the first testing window for the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP certifications. An online pathway was launched at the same time to allow HR professionals with a current HRCI certification to obtain their SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP credential.
Join us to hear a presentation about the new SHRM certifications. The presentation includes information about the SHRM Body of Competency and Knowledge, the requirements to become SHRM certified, and the development of the new certifications and exams. We will also discuss the online tutorial or “pathway” to obtain your SHRM credential if you have a current HRCI certification. All your questions about the SHRM certifications are welcome!
