    Training Summary:  SHRM and other research studies indicate that effective workplace communication plays a key role in business success. For management and HR professionals, the ability to communicate effectively is a critical competency to be able to contribute to that success. In this session, you will learn the benefits of effective workplace communication, strategies for building a culture of trust and belief, the importance of effective communication as an HR competency, and the skills you need to develop to be a proficient communicator. 

    Dianna Gould, SHRM-SCP, CAE, Field Services Director for the Pacific West Region for SHRMDianna has over 20 years of experience in the Human Resources profession.  Prior to joining SHRM, she had experience as an HR professional for start-up firms to Fortune 500 companies. She has worked in the high tech, international export, manufacturing, and the service industries.

    Dianna has served as the President for the SHRM Portland Human Resource Management Association and in 2006 was the Director of the SHRM Oregon State Council Board of Directors.

    She recently obtained her SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation and is also certified as a CAE-Certified Association Executive.

    Continuous learning and professional development have been the cornerstone of her career and she thanks you for the opportunity to share some of her experiences with you at our BMHRMA chapter meeting.
