    About the Unity Team

The Unity Team works with the Division of Disability Administration (DDA) and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), conducting services such as Community Based Assessments, Job Placement, and Retention. This ensures that the individual, business partner and the support team have all necessary information to support the individual in employment. Each service provides information that helps us better understand their skills and accommodations needed to be successful. Each individual has different skills they can bring to the company where each is beneficial. The Unity Team consists of CRP’s (Community Rehabilitation Program) in each county that have the same mission. Each organization works with the same vendors and the same population. Our teams work together to educate the community of the benefits with working with this population. We would like to assist the community with job seekers/employees that bring a unique skill and quality to the business.

    About What’s Next Washington

Lack of stable employment is a key driver of recidivism. WNW works to break this cycle of unemployment by collaborating directly with employers to explore and reduce restrictions on hiring Formerly-Incarcerated Talent (FIT). Changing hiring processes will take time and effort on all sides.  Our goal is to reduce the 27% unemployment rate for those with conviction histories to 10% within five years.
