Learn to recognize signs of trauma in your employees and how to help ground and support them.
ITR® is a novel approach that has been found to greatly reduce or completely eliminate trauma symptoms. It is informed by art therapy, narrative therapy, parts theory, and CBT. ITR® is adaptable for all kinds of industries and works with groups of individuals, in-person or virtually. The co-founders, the late Dr. Louis Tinnin, Psychiatrist, and Dr. Linda Gantt, licensed Art Therapist, used the approach in clinics and hospitals for over 40 years. David has made it his mission to get the word out to help others benefit from this fast and effective versatile approach based on brain science.
David Lindstrom has managed, counseled, and coached teams for over 20 years in the industries of healthcare, higher ed, and public administration. He has a MA in Psychology and has been an adjunct professor focusing on Developmental Psychology, Learning and personal development for 15 years. He has worked as a certified Title IX investigator at the post-secondary level since 2016 and is currently serving as a Title IX Coordinator.
David is also the Executive Director of Operations at ITR Training Institute and Help For Trauma. He conducts trainings for professionals, lay mental health providers and peer support teams in the Instinctual Trauma Response (ITR)®. He also manages operations for Help For Trauma (the clinical sister company) that offers intensive trauma therapy and coaching using the ITR® method.
David trains and coaches diverse groups to help them grow towards being their best selves by learning effective techniques in dealing with some of life’s most difficult situations. David agrees with ITR’s motto: “Resolve the trauma first and see what’s left”
