Topic Description:  Ethical scandals seem to pop up overnight in some of our most trusted institutions. When an organization has an ethical scandal, employees experience negative consequences such as a loss of trust, low morale, and an increase in stress and pressure. HR leadership is essential for making ethics part of workplace culture, especially in our own HR departments. Join us for tips on how to create a strong ethical culture at your organization. As Yoda advised, “Do or do not. There is no try.”

    Learning objectives:
    · Gain a basic understanding of the role of ethics in the workplace.
    · Understand how HR is ethically responsible for promoting and fostering fairness and
justice for all employees and the organizations where they work.
    · Discover why a code of ethics is important to provide clear and descriptive guidance to
    your organization.
    · Learn how you can develop and implement a code of ethics in your organization.
