An engaging seminar discussing Leadership & Culture in the workplace...
The Company Does Not Love You
We often hear that companies care about, value, or even love employees. While people within an organization may genuinely care, a company itself is not capable of love. It’s important not to confuse the two.
As leaders, our role is to create workplaces where people are respected, supported, and cared for, while also recognizing that the business must prioritize its mission and needs. In this session, we will explore what a company is—and is not—what a mission truly means, and how to create meaning and purpose at work without misrepresenting the role of the organization.
Some ideas may feel uncomfortable and spark discussion. By the end of the session, participants will gain practical insights on communicating with employees, leading people and HR strategies with clarity, and setting honest expectations about the purpose of our work.
Some of these concepts will be counterintuitive - some will make us uncomfortable, and we can anticipate lively debate!
You will leave with:
- New ideas for communicating with employees
- How to lead human resources and people strategies without inadvertently misleading employees
- How to develop new strategies that provide clarity around the purpose of our work.
